Dive into our engaging virtual professional development (VPD) micro-credentials that are tailored to deliver targeted strategies to empower administrators, school leaders, and teachers to enhance and turnaround schools. Accessible anytime, anywhere, our modules discuss best practices and provide opportunities to enhance your leadership abilities and drive positive change within your school community.  These micro-credentials are developed by the Texas A&M Educational Leadership Research Center (ELRC), with funding provided through a grant from Education Innovation and Research (EIR), the U.S. Department of Education.

Module 1: Reflective Journaling for Teachers

  • Understand the importance of teachers' reflective journaling and its benefits.

  • Identify digital forms of teachers' reflective journaling.

  • Implement a reflective journal.  

 

Module 2: Stress Management and Self-care for Teachers

  • Identify common causes of teacher stress.

  • Learn how to address teacher stress through different techniques.

  • Describe strategies for improving teachers' well-being. 

 

Module 3: Time Management for Teachers' Workload

  • Strategize ways to improve time management.

  • Discuss the benefits of time management.

  • Learn how to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

 

Module 4: Beating the Burnout

  • Ponder teacher burnout and common causes.

  • Consider some ways to combat burnout.

  • Reflect on the signs of burnout in your career to see if you should consider yourself approaching burnout.

  • Contemplate implementing burnout-busting strategies in your life to prolong your career in education.

This is a four module micro-credential that awards a certificate worth four continuing professional development units/hours (CPUs) upon completion.
